Purification in Sterinox plants typically uses a combination of reverse osmosis (RO), deionization (DI), and ultrafiltration (UF). Water is pushed through semi‑permeable membranes to remove salts, organics, particulates, and microbes.

Purified water is water that has been mechanically or chemically processed to remove impurities, such as dissolved ions, organics, particles, and microorganisms down to levels measured in parts‑per‑billion or trillion.

The plant’s purpose is to transform raw or drinking-grade water into high-purity or ultrapure water, meeting strict pharmaceutical, laboratory, or industrial standards.

Although the core purification relies on physical processes like filtration and RO, some plants may use chemical agents such as chlorine, ozone, or sodium hypochlorite for disinfection.
