JOB PROFILE
- To purchase engineering / routine items as instructed
- Development & management of Database & Documentation related to purchase & costing
- To manage payment schedule of vendors in coordination with accounts / project team
- Strong commercial negotiation & lead time negotiation skills
- Strong follow up skills required with suppliers & internal team
- Approach should be target oriented to finish a project on time
- To manage purchase activity as per the lead time and urgency of the project team
- Vendor development / management skill
- To introduce new vendors / suppliers
- Should be able to read technical specifications of the products and able to make technical & commercial comparison
- Liaising with Sterinox Projects, Accounts, Proposals, Site Team & with the Client
- Liaising & coordination with Vendor
- A basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical & electronic items
- Proficient in verbal & written English
- Proficient in Marathi, Hindi & Gujarati language speaking would be an added advantage
- If required, a candidate should be prepared to travel to Sterinox factory time to time
